Errors in the signals, thrusting rods, and broken bars.
Grinding gears turn within the rusted mechanisms.
Chewing up and churning out the memories of what was.

Arch of resplendence,
Rises up from the sea.
A spire in the mist,
From within the sunken iron keep.
Elemental juggernaut,
Born from this withered plane.
Abominable manifestation,
Of wretched human apathy.

Polluted, petrified flesh,
Fallen fortress of steel and bone.
Lethal poison, noxious toxins,
Ripping through the rift of our home.

The schism of our existence,
Was bound to lead us here.
This seething cauldron of sordid life,
Erased as if we never were.

Defaced.
